Unlock the Bondage of Technology

The pigeon atop the mango tree,
	observing with awe the humans below;
wondering where all are rushing,
	where do they all plan to go?
Clad in hues of the rainbow,
	holding this funny-looking thing;
walking on the road, but looking so lost,
	what joy does this screen bring?

The love they could have seen,
	in the eye of their child;
is much more invaluable,
	if only they had replicated his smile.
They are lost, conversing with a world,
	that never actually exists,
and missing the precious joys around,
	busy crossing their to-do lists.

We are not addicted,
	We are much better; we are free;
we value life more than they do,
	I hope you all agree.
Be like us and soar the sky,
	put each moment to good use;
enjoy the nectar each moment gifts,
	 the treasure of time, do not misuse.
