As I took a stroll today,
lost in my chain of thoughts;
I felt the bliss of tiny raindrops,
pulling me out of the haves and have-nots.
Raindrops, like moments,
touched me and faded away;
reminding me to be in gratitude,
make the most of the day.
Realize the bouquet of possibilities,
delivered each waking day;
crib on not-so-goods or roll out laughing,
it's completely our choice and our way.
The moments, once lost, never return,
like the raindrops that touched me;
let us be in gratitude to be healthy and alive,
and thank the Universe for the opportunity.
